What you'll do

· Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.

· Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

· Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.

· Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.

· Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.

· Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.

· Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.

· Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

· Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville is seeking LPNs for its 120 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

We're looking for caring, warm-hearted nurses who are seeking an opportunity to do meaningful work, an opportunity to put a personal touch on improving the lives of others. The LPN/RN supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA guidelines. Provides general nursing care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations and MFA nursing policy and procedures. Writes weekly/monthly summaries of patients’ status, abilities and addresses problems identified in the patient care plan for RN review.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse.

One (1) year of previous nursing experience preferred. New Grads welcome to apply.
